What is an Extraction?
Skin Lesion Extraction
not for Actinic Keratosis.
not for Basal Cell Carcinoma.
not for Squamous Cell Carcinoma.
Extraction is accomplished by first preparing the skin with antiseptic alcohol solution. The pore over the sebaceous material is enlarged with a sharp instrument usually a needle or a scalpel. The material inside the cyst is then expressed with firm gentle pressure. A small dressing if needed is placed over the area.
