This 70 year old white female underwent the first Silhouette-Lift procedure to be done at re*be® which also happens to be the first ever done in the State of Iowa. The procedure was done under local anesthesia and took almost exactly one hour. This procedure was complicated by the presence of numerous older Contour Threads⁜ that had been placed elsewhere over 5 years ago. Our anxious first patient commented about half-way through the procedure 'I don't know what I was so worried about, this is nothing'. She was not given any sedation and was able to return to a full day's work the next day. There was no noticeable bruising on the first day after the procedure. She reported to us that she only took one Tylenol® the night of the procedure. We are obviously happy with the results of our first procedure and anxious to do more Silhouette-Lift® procedures at re*be®. Silhouette-Lift® is available in Iowa now at re*be®.

Silhouette Lift cheeks only
Dr. Kolegraff was the first re*be® patient to have a Silhouette-Lift® and as far as we know the first person in Iowa to have the procedure. This was done by Dr. Roger Hogue MD RVT and Lori Hogue RN BSN in Maple Grove, Minnesota. The improvement in Dr. Kolegraff's appearance is obvious but the reasons for this are subtle. There is clear elevation of his check fat pads to their more normal location under the eyes. The lines from the nose down to the side (nasolabial folds) are softer. Dr. Kolegraff's jowls are elevated and the lines extending from the corner of the mouth are softer. This is a wonderful result for the Hogue Cosmetic Team considering what they had to start with.
re*be® is quick to embrace promising technology however as with most all of our treatments we like to be sure of their effectiveness before we offer them to our patients. Dr. Kolegraff had the Silhouette-Lift® which was done in the evening In Maple Grove, Minnesota. This was done under local anesthesia and Dr. Kolegraff worked the following day for 12 yours at The Hogue Vein Clinic in Mankato, Minnesota. He did not take any pain medication and had no noticeable bruising either. We are happy to offer the Silhouette-Lift® to our re*be® patients.
The face looks better because of the lifting and better definition of the lower jaw line. The fat pad on the cheek is elevated and gives the face a more youthful appearance. The result obtained by the Hogue Cosmetic Team is responsible in my opinion for making me look at least 8 years younger. The line coming off the corner of my mouth is clearly softer. The nasolabial fold is even difficult to find in the after photo. These photos were taken just before the procedure and 5 days after.
